I remember fondly how American Express welcomed me into the card carrying ranks when I was in college.  And what a novelty it was to use a credit card with no thought of how to repay the balance.  It’s hard to believe that nearly 30 years later this same game goes on and that students can get led into this and the many other financial traps covered in this article on MSN.  In a perfect world everyone would graduate with a clean financial bill of health, but then nothing’s perfect and with the rising cost of education it seems to be harder every year to foot the bill.  If nothing else, the goal should be to minimize the cost you have to deal with after graduation.  What I find nice about this article is the simple summary of the main things that students (and parents) should be aware of that can trip you up.
