COCM has been a training ground for my student affairs career. I’ve been given a nuanced experience that connects me with university administration and corporate strategies. This combination has given me a depth of knowledge that allows me to meet today’s higher ed challenges and makes me better prepared for what lies ahead in the profession.
I’m proud to be able to work for a company that provides expertise and support for industry leading best practices in our field, but also allows site directors enough autonomy to customize our approach to the needs of our client institutions. This approach helps us to bring valuable insights to our University colleagues while also immersing ourselves in the culture of the institution. In my 13 years with COCM, I’ve had the opportunity to grow within the company, not only through promotions at the site level, but also through opportunities to transfer to other institutions for new experiences. I love that I get to work with a diverse group of colleagues from across the country, and that COCM supports my professional development through attendance at national conferences.
