INSIGHT

Student Affairs professionals at heart, the COCM team is committed to educating, improving, and adding value to our industry. To that end, we intentionally find, create, and produce quality content to share with our partners and all in the student housing field. COCM’s “Insights” page is a place for us to engage with anyone interested in learning more about residence life, student housing, colleges and universities, and the people who make up the higher education community. All the content linked below is offered free of charge or commitment and is intended to be an engaging resource to improve professional knowledge and practices in student housing.

Student Housing Calculator

COCM’s proprietary Student Housing Calculator (SHC) was created in response to one of the most often-asked questions by student housing leaders – How many beds will I need on my campus in the future? This tool allows you to input your institution’s enrollment data, bed counts, and trends and then provides you a projection of your housing demand for the next 10 years. Check it out! (And please call us if you have any questions.)
