Capstone On-Campus Management (“COCM”) is pleased to announce it has been awarded the management of Spartan Suites, a 600-bed student apartment community on the campus of Norfolk State University. The Spartan Suites community is owned by E2F Student Housing I, LLC.
Spartan Suites provides fully-furnished apartment style living arrangements, in one, two, and four bedroom units. Community amenities include a fitness center, convenience store, sandwich shop, private study areas, common and conference areas, as well as a recently renovated computer lab. The student community is located on Norfolk State’s campus, which is in close proximity to downtown Norfolk.
The management structure for Spartan Suites reflects COCM’s “shared governance” arrangement, in which COCM provides facilities services and Norfolk State and COCM collaborate for the residence life programming.
“We are honored to serve as management partner for Spartan Suites and our housing professionals are committed to enhancing the living / learning experience for the Norfolk State student residents,” said Alton Irwin, Chief Marketing Officer for COCM. “With the addition of Spartan Suites, we now serve 26 campuses nationwide.”
