Campuses Plan for the Return of Conferences in Summer 2022 with a New Playbook

Share:

Colleges and universities have faced incredible challenges due to COVID-19. Conference service programs — an important source of revenue for some campuses — have been in survival mode through the pandemic, adapting to challenging circumstances one day at a time. But in-person events are slowly starting to come back, and it’s time for colleges and universities to think about the 2022 season.

COCM has released a new guide, “Three Things Your Campus Should Be Doing Now For 2022 Summer Conferences Recovery,” to help colleges and universities prepare to bring back summer conference programming to campus in summer 2022. In it, readers will find information that will help them better understand the value proposition of summer conferences and how it can be leveraged as campuses begin to open up more events. With over 50 guiding questions to get campuses ready to start booking business for 2022, this resource will help university staff feel confident about moving forward while acknowledging what we have learned over this past year. This guide is available for free download on the COCM website at cocm.com/resources.

COCM offers a wide variety of consulting and management solutions which can be tailored to your campus to help you grow your summer conference programs.
